Bigg Boss Telugu Season 10 delivered another dramatic episode as the housemates faced a series of high-pressure challenges, heated arguments and, most importantly, a shocking mid-week elimination.
The fifth episode took the competition to another level with the continuation of the much-talked-about Maha Pariksha. While the contestants were already aware that the Bigg Boss house would not be an easy journey, nobody expected an elimination to take place this early.
The biggest talking point of the episode was the unexpected exit of Charan, who had entered the house through the Agni Pariksha. His elimination, which happened without the usual public voting process, left the entire house stunned.
Bigg Boss Puts High-Risk Contestants to the Test
The episode began with Bigg Boss announcing another crucial task for the Blue and Red teams.
Two contestants from each team were asked to participate in a challenge to protect members who were considered to be in the high-risk zone. The teams were given the responsibility of selecting the contestants who would represent them.
From the Blue Team, Trigun and Mukesh stepped forward, while Rohith and Vamsi represented the Red Team.
But Bigg Boss had another twist waiting for them. The four contestants were called into the confession room and asked to nominate another member from their respective teams to enter the danger zone. After discussions, Rohith and Vamsi selected Chaitra, while Trigun and Mukesh chose Krishnudu.
Blue Team Finishes First — But Makes a Costly Mistake
The task appeared to be going in favour of the Blue Team after Trigun and Mukesh completed the challenge before their opponents.
However, a small mistake changed the result completely.
The duo reportedly missed one bag during the task and also failed to correctly complete the required spelling related to Krishnudu’s name. Bigg Boss therefore declared their attempt invalid.
As a result, Rohith and Vamsi were announced as the winners, giving the Red Team a major advantage.
Their victory also meant that Chaitra remained in the high-risk zone, increasing the tension inside the house.
Red Team Celebration Sparks a Major Fight
Instead of quietly celebrating their victory, the Red Team members began asking Bigg Boss to play a song so they could celebrate.
Shalini even joined in with a dance, but their celebrations did not go down well with everyone.
Ram Prasad questioned the timing of the celebrations, pointing out that one of their own teammates was still in the danger zone. He also wondered how Chaitra might feel watching the others celebrate.
The situation became even more uncomfortable when Shalini later tried to apologize to Chaitra. During their conversation, Chaitra reportedly asked Shalini not to speak to her in a harsh manner.
That exchange quickly turned into an argument, making the atmosphere inside the house tense once again.
Chaitra Gets Saved as the Battle Narrows Down
Bigg Boss then called the three contestants in the high-risk zone to the garden area and gave them another important responsibility.
They had to decide who among them deserved to continue in the Bigg Boss house.
After the discussion, Charan and Ram Prasad chose to save Chaitra. This left Charan and Ram Prasad as the two contestants facing the final danger of elimination.
The decision dramatically changed the mood in the house as everyone began wondering who would be sent out.
Trigun and Rohith Clash Again
The rivalry between Trigun and Rohith continued in this episode as well.
What started as a seemingly minor disagreement during dishwashing soon escalated into a much more personal confrontation.
The argument reportedly moved beyond the original issue, with both contestants taking digs at each other’s education and professional lives. The exchange became increasingly intense, with personal comments and criticism also entering the conversation.
Their repeated clashes are now emerging as one of the major sources of tension inside the Bigg Boss house.
Charan Faces the Final Elimination Test
The biggest twist came when Bigg Boss asked the housemates to choose between Charan and Ram Prasad.
The contestants had to decide who they felt was less deserving of continuing in the competition and explain their reasons by applying colour to their chosen contestant.
Ram Prasad received votes from Rohith, Aman, Shalini, Vamsi and Srushti.
Charan, meanwhile, was chosen by Mukesh, Trigun, Jhansi, Naresh, Krishnudu, Baby Jani, Sudheer and Varshini.
With Charan receiving the larger number of votes, Bigg Boss announced the shocking decision Charan was eliminated from the house.
A Mid-Week Elimination Nobody Expected
Charan’s exit became the biggest highlight of Episode 5 because the elimination did not follow the regular public voting format.
Instead of waiting for viewers to decide the outcome, the housemates themselves were given the power to determine who should leave.
The decision was particularly surprising because Charan had entered the show after going through the Agni Pariksha, making his journey inside the house extremely short.
For the contestants, his elimination served as a strong reminder that nobody could afford to become complacent.
